| ABOUT THE FOUNDERS |
Hanshi Lemuel "Doc" Stroud, 9th Dan:
Hanshi Stroud has practiced and taught martial arts for many years
and is well
known in the martial arts community. His primary art is Hakko Ryu
Jujutsu and he is a certified Shihan (master) by the
Hakko Ryu Martial Arts Federation. He also teaches Karate and Kobudo.
He has instructed Law Enforcment Defensive
Tactics, prison guards and many martial artits along the east coast
from Maine to Florida as well as other areas in the U.S.,
Carribean and other parts of the world. |
Hanshi Sergio DeCasien, 8th Dan: Hanshi
DeCasien started training with his father in Jujutsu at the age of
9. He has
over 60 years years experience in martial arts. DeCasien's Judo training
started when he was in the military. His area
of expertise is Nissei Kito Ryu Jiu Jitsu and Judo. |
Kyoshi Al Gardner,
8th Dan: (1950-2006) Kyoshi Gardner, of Bathe Maine,
mainly taught Shotokan Karate. Gardner also
taught the Chinese arts of Hsing-I, Ba Gua, and Tai Chi Chuan and
had extensive experience in a variety of Chinese weapons and Okinawan
weapons (kobudo). |
Kyoshi Gregg Johnson: Kyoshi Johnson
has been training since 1963 and was Chief Instructor of the Defensive
Tactics Section at the Chicago Police Academy. He has also taught
body guard training various martial arts camps and seminars. Kyoshi
Johnson teaches Kyokushin Karate and full contact fighting. |
Shihan Clayton Tucker: Shihan Tucker's
main area of excellence is in Hakko Ryu Jujutsu. He teaches a full
spectrum
of Jujutsu techniques both orthodox Hakko Ryu and other waza with
a great amount of detail in his instruction. Shihan
Tucker is a long-time student of Hanshi Stroud and is his highest
ranking student. |
